Passage in 2027

In 2027, we're going to shift our focus toward the membership.

When we first started talking about Passage, the idea was always to build something around the cellar. To make small batches, give them time, and share them with a smaller group of people who are interested in following along.

Over the past two years, we've found ourselves pulled in a lot of different directions. Markets, retail, releases, shipping, trying to keep up with all the things a brewery is supposed to do.

I don't think that's where Passage is at its best.

So we're going to simplify things.

More time in the cellar. More experimentation. More Vin de Grain. More of the beers that take months, or sometimes years, to become what they're supposed to be.

The membership gives us the freedom to work this way. Rather than constantly making something new to put on a shelf, we can make things slowly, follow where they lead, and share them when they're ready.

This is what Passage was supposed to be from the beginning.
